Beauty pros too busy to tidy their homes

Those who work in the beauty industry are so busy and tired that they rarely have time to clean their home, according to research by interiors specialist Hillarys.

Beauty professionals scored the cleanliness of their home, on average, 13 out of 40, putting them fourth on the list of the UK’s most untidy professions. Teachers, who had a house cleanliness score of nine out of 40; healthcare workers (10 out of 40) and hospitality workers (12 out of 40) were ahead of them.

The most common reasons for not tidying up were, “I’m too tired to clean when I get home from work” (42%) and “as quickly as I tidy, it’s a mess again” (35%). For most, the kitchen is the most least tidy room in their house.
