TOP TIPS from the judges

1. Bring your own pillow

“The competition set-up can really throw you off because you’re in a different working environment, so bring your usual client pillow to help get you in the zone”, says judge Lia Juhas, owner of LiaLash Pro.

2. Cover all bases

“When doing your application, pay special attention to the inner and outer corners of your client’s eyes, it will get you extra points”, explains judge Ilaria Marrazzo, Angel Lash & Brow Academy trainer.

3. Have an action plan

“Choose a lash map that enhances your model’s eye shape and focus on quality before quantity”, adds judge Natalie Gibson, head of training for Kalentin Lashes.

WHAT’S THE DEADLINE?

The deadline for entries is 10am on October 5. Entry costs £15 per category for students and £50 for professionals. Enter now: professionalbeauty.co.uk/competitions
