There will be a gift with purchase on the Christmas collection and a “buy one, get one free” offer on Balance Massage Oil. Interactive aromatherapy workshops will run on stand for visitors to discover the properties of essential oils, and there will be sessions on wellbeing in the workplace to inspire spa and salon owners to promote employee wellbeing.

Janssen will launch a men’s skincare range at the show, comprising 24/7 Skin Energizer, Purifying Wash + Shave, Calming Hydro Gel and Energizing Eye Roll-On. Visitors can also be among the first to try Caviar Luxury Cream and Platinum Shine Elixir. PB North will see the Mature Skin Starter Kit retailed from the stand for the first time. The kit contains products formulated to treat sallow skin, wrinkles, loss of elasticity and age spots. Key ingredients include a cellular regeneration complex, red clover and fermented black tea kombucha.

Baldan Group

Baldan will launch its new Iridium eye contour treatment programme at PB North, designed to tackle signs of ageing and stress in the eye area. The programme consists of a professional device called Pressotherapy, which uses massage, acupressure and heat to promote drainage, increase blood circulation and relieve muscle tension, plus four Iridium Elixirs and Modelling Cream for in-salon treatments. The homecare line includes Total Lifting Effect Vibrating Roll-on, Hyaluron Filler Eye Mask and four eye serums for bags, dark circles, wrinkles or signs of fatigue.

“The Professional Beauty shows are a brilliant opportunity to hear inspirational speakers and to discover their secrets to succeeding in the industry. It’s also the perfect chance to meet some of the best suppliers and chat with them about the latest innovative products to get one step ahead of your competitors” Louise McFadzean, managing director of Zest Zen Spa, Edinburgh

Image Skincare

The cosmeceutical skincare brand will have its four Christmas collections on stand, new for 2018. The brand will also be showcasing its latest product launches: Vital C Hydrating Water Burst, a lightweight, gel-textured hydrator with vitamins and peptides; Overnight Masque, an overnight treatment with blue-green algae extract; Antioxidant A C E Serum, with bearberry and green tea extracts; and Ageless Total Pure Hyaluronic Filler, a serum with low and highmolecular weight hyaluronic acid. There will be an offer of 15% off all wholesale orders placed at the show.

Sothys

Visitors can discover the Sothys Athletics two-product body care collection for use before and after exercise. Nutri-relaxing Oil tones the skin pre-workout and comforts it after, helping recover suppleness. Active ingredient camphor helps muscle tone, circulation and stimulation. Smoothing Warming Gel should be used to “prepare the skin for athletic activity” and encourages slimmer looking legs with its taurine re-energising complex. Also on stand will be the NO2ctuelle range, designed to work on the factors that cause environmental ageing and strain the skin.

“I love Professional Beauty North because it’s a great day out and allows me to meet up with fellow salon owners who I have met on social media groups and also brand exhibitors. We usually take a list with us of things we want for the salon and have a look to see what new products are available in the coming year” Sophie Patel, owner of Beauty at Noggis, Bolton

Mary Cohr

Guinot’s sister brand will showcase newly launched Incredible Hydrating Cream, formulated with hyaluronic acid and enriched with an “aqua cellular complex”, which works to reactivate the skin’s key hydrating mechanisms. Also new is sun care range Science UV, developed to compensate age deficiencies with melanin, lutein, sun filters, DNA and elastoprotectin. The products help protect skin from the harmful effects of UV rays and shield against photoageing and blue light exposure

Elemis

Be among the first to try Elemis’s new additions to the Peptide4 line. Joining Night Recovery Cream-Oil is Thousand Flower Mask, a cooling and illuminating treatment with Nordic peat to help balance the skin’s acid mantle and lactic acid to gently exfoliate; and Eye Recovery Cream, with flower seed oils of star arvensis and night scented stock to improve skin elasticity. The brand will also showcase its 2018 Christmas collection.

Eve Taylor

The British aromatherapy salon skincare brand will showcase recent launches at North including its body washes, which use synergistic essential oil blends to soothe, reduce stress, balance and invigorate, with deep cleansing cocamide surfactant and conditioning and soothing botanicals. Also on stand will be Age Resist Anti-Oxidant Masque with Phyto-Collagen. Infused with natural plant-based ingredients, the masque uses antioxidants alongside vitamin-rich botanicals. Finally, visit the stand to try Micro-fine Daily Exfoliant, which works to digest, dissolve and buff away dead skin cells using fruit enzymes.

“It’s great to have all the big companies in one room, so I can go around and compare products and treatments more easily. It’s so motivational to be in a room full of inspiring people from the industry” Emma Ginever, manager of The Essentials Beauty Salon, Birmingham

Dermalogica

Dermalogica fans can find out about new Rapid Reveal Peel, plus try out other recent launches such as BioLumin-C Serum and Sound Sleep Cocoon. BioLumin-C combines an “ultra stable” vitamin C complex with other key active ingredients for a serum that brightens, firms and defends skin against oxidative stress by enhancing its own defences. Meanwhile Sound Sleep Cocoon is a gel-cream that works overnight to aid the skin’s repair and recovery process, using encapsulated motion-activated essential oils. There will be 15% off retail products on the stand.

IIAA

Fans of IIAA brands Jane Iredale, Environ and ANP can get a sneak peek of the brands’ latest launches at the show. New from Environ is the Focus Care Radiance+ range of products formulated to tackle the root causes of discolouration, dark spots and uneven skin tone, while Jane Iredale’s autumn collection features new Pure Pressed Eyeshadow Duos and Retractable Eyebrow Pencils. For ANP, a new display unit will be unveiled to help accounts create more visibility of the supplements.

Payot

French skincare brand Payot will be at the show launching the new Blue Techni Liss line. Developed to offset the effects that exposure to screens, a lack of natural light and not enough sleep have on clients’ skin, the five-products – Jour, Nuit, Chrono-Smoothing Gel, Serum and Chrono-Renewing Peel Mask – work to tackle desynchronised skin biorhythms and mitigate the impact of blue light. The formulas contain chaste tree and horehound extracts to counterbalance disturbances to the skin’s metabolism, and both cross-linked and highmolecular- weight hyaluronic acids are included to have a smoothing and plumping effect on lacklustre skin.
