// Wellness members’ club The Lanesborough Club & Spa will host a pop-up residency for German medispa Villa Stéphanie (pictured) in September, offering the German medispa’s programme of diet advice, personalised training, daily medical supervision and bespoke spa treatments. The residency will include one-to-one appointments with Villa Stephanie’s Dr Harry König.

// Cidesco is celebrating International Beauty Day 2018 on September 9 by encouraging its members and the public to share what beauty means to them by using the hashtag #InternationalBeautyDay. It will put together responses in an International Beauty Dictionary.

// The National Hairdressers’ Federation (NHF) won two titles at this year’s Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards ceremony. The first was Outstanding Member Resource for the launch of its GDPR Toolkit, followed by the Outstanding Contribution Award, which was won by NHF’s director of membership, Tina Beaumont-Goddard.

// Sunny Sachdev has been named the third franchisee for membership salon concept, The Massage Company. Sachdev will actively start his search for a property in the Solihull, Leicester and Nottingham areas. Salon and spa software brand Shedul has received a $5 million (£3.8m) investment. The investment was led by international venture capital company Target Global, with backing from investor FJ Labs.
