INSIDER BEAUTY
ROMAN
It’s been a strong month for beauty salons with more than half of you seeing an uptick in treatment bookings as clients book in for treatments to prep for holidays, weddings and other occassions.
In recent years, the attention on beauty products’ ingredients list has grown as clients get savvier. One of the issues often brought up is whether products are vegan-friendly – and while some brands are increasingly moving towards vegan products, it may come as a surprise that less than half of you have had clients ask whether the products you use in treatments are vegan.
Another ethical hot topic in the beauty industry is the promotion of diversity and inclusion. When choosing salon uniforms, 33% of you look for those available in petite and plus sizes and 12% of you want your salonwear to be customisable.
