SHOW OFF your skills

Want to show off your talent? Register to compete in our prestigious Nail and Make-Up Competitions at Professional Beauty London on April 3-4.

How to enter PB London’s Nail Competition

We’ve joined forces with the Federation of Nail Professionals’s Marian Newman and Sue Davies for the second year to run our two-day Nail Competition at PB London.

With categories for students, nail professionals (qualified for more than a year), educators and all qualified nail technicians, there’s a category for everyone to show off their skills.

Nail professionals and students can compete in four categories: Salon Enhancements, UV Gel-Polish, Perfect Manicure, and the Nail Art Challenge. Educators can take part in the Educator Skills Challenge. The Liquid & Powder and UV Cured categories are open to all nail professionals.

Not able to compete on the day? You can still take part in the Nail Competition in our two off-the-floor categories: Instagram Photographic and Press-ons in a Box. Both are ’80s punk-themed and open to all qualified nail pros. These categories will be judged at the show, where you can submit your entry during registration on Monday, April 4.

Price: £30 for educators and professionals, £15 for students. 10% discount for FNP members.

How to enter PB London’s Make-Up Competition

Hosted by and created in collaboration with leading session MUA and creator of Makeup Studio One, Lan Nguyen-Grealis, the Make-Up Competition at PB London is open to both professionals and learners in six categories.

On Sunday, April 3, competitors can take part in three categories: illusions and camouflage-themed Bodypainting; Films, which is themed around Film Noir and black and white movies; and Editorial, where looks are to be inspired by late fashion designer Thierry Mugler.

On Monday, April 4, MUAs will go head-to-head in the Bridal category, and Creative Influencer category, which will follow the theme of Professional Beauty. Off the floor, we have the Image Award Category, with the theme of Campaign Look AW22. Image entries must be submitted by 3pm on March 31, and judging will take place at the show.

Price: £20 for professionals and £10 for learners. To enter visit: professionalbeauty.co.uk/competitions

Professional Beauty London is taking place at ExCeL London on April 3–4, followed by an online-only day on April 5. Register for your free ticket: professionalbeauty.co.uk/london
