Delivering a perfect acrylic set for clients is what every nail tech strives for, but liquid and powder (L&P) isn’t always the easiest medium to work with. L&P is a technique that many techs struggle with, especially in terms of preventing issues such as lifting (20%) and cracking (19%) from occurring. As well as turning to their team and nail mentors for advice, just under a fifth (18%) also watch nail hack videos on TikTok and Instagram Reels to help them with challenges.
Many of you are also doing refresher training with your team on how to increase the shelf life of your products as this can also help to deliver a great service for clients. For just under two thirds (61%), regularly wiping pots so there’s no product build up is key, while storing containers out of direct sunlight (59%) and keeping lids shut when filing and buffing (43%) are also things your team do.
