// The Spa at the Midland, Manchester, has appointed Rebecca Holmes as director of spa, replacing Helena Greszk, who left to become general manager of the UK Spa Association. Holmes previously held senior positions at Handpicked Hotels and Macdonald Hotels, most recently spa & leisure development manager at Brooklands Hotel, Surrey.

// The Advanced Nutrition Programme (ANP) announced the winners of its international awards, recognising the achievements of its distributing partner operations across four categories. The winner of the 2018 Newcomer of the Year Award was BeautyCare, New Zealand. The ceremony was held during ANP’s 2018 international business development conference in the Cotswolds.

// Salon System hosted its Just Wax Advanced Masterclass at the Alan Howard Training Academy in Stockport. Waxing experts discovered more about the new range and learned from ambassadors Lisa Stone and Andy Rouillard.

// The Spa at Bedford Lodge, Suffolk, has launched its new Wellbeing in the Workplace initiative encouraging businesses to reclaim their lunch break. The spa will be offering pop-ups to local business with an expert therapist providing mini-treatments.

// Neom Organics has launched a two-loor lagship store in Guildford, Surrey, designed by founder and creative director Nicola Elliott and her team to give customers the ultimate Neom wellbeing experience.
