// CACI training officer Ruby Sidhu visited Spanish distributor DRV-phytolab’s headquarters in Madrid to provide a comprehensive course on the brand’s breakthrough technology to the team of ambassadors after the non-invasive system experienced success at overseas shows.

// CEW held its 17th annual Achiever Awards, at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower hotel in London to honour beauty professionals for their inspirational work and innovative thinking. Among the winners were Jane Wurwand, co-founder of Dermalogica, who won the Lifetime Achiever Award; and Matthew Moulding, founder of The Hut Group, which owns Espa, who won the Special Industry Award.

// HD Brows has launched a Christmas make-up class, Tis The Season To Sparkle. The course will be held in the brand’s make-up academy in Leeds. Taught by make-up artist Rebecca Cathcart, the four-hour session will run on November 29 and December 6.

// Obagi distributor Healthxchange has announced the Obagi Challenge is back for a second year, encouraging clinics and practitioners to submit their best patient transformations for the chance to win a £300 spa voucher. Patients can also win a £1,000 holiday voucher.

// Lava shells returned to The X Factor house to treat contestants to a Lava Shells heated massage. Other celebrity fans include 2017 winners Rak-Su, Little Mix and Amanda Holding.
