TREND WATCH: BRONZED BOYS

With more men coming into salons, the pro brands know it’s important to offer something that’s exclusive for them. While metro men are comfortable with taking care of themselves, they can still easily be put off by anything that looks or smells too “feminine”. Meanwhile, their skin tends to be thicker and oiler than women’s, meaning different key ingredients can help a tan take.

Sienna X’s new Man Tan has a bespoke male fragrance with undertones of musk and vetiver, and is infused with ginkgo biloba and sage, often used in male skincare to improve collagen renewal. And check out the subtle shades from brands including Bellamianta, St Tropez and Exposed for solutions to help ease men into the tanning habit.
