SALON OWNERS WARNED TO CARRY OUT CHECKS ON STAFF AMID CRACKDOWN ON ILLEGAL WORKERS

Clare Hanson commented: “I’m glad this story has continued to be followed to keep us nail techs updated about what’s happening with illegal workers and the fact that some salons are still doing it. There needs to be a bigger crackdown and more stories on TV, even if it was just a news report, to make potential clients aware of what’s going on before they go and have a treatment. They can check out the salon to make sure all the workers are qualified and legal, and if they’re unsure they can report them.”
