Elemis Life Elixirs

To expand its identity in the wellness arena, Elemis is launching Life Elixirs, a range of aromatherapy-based products to help clients tune into their minds and bodies. There are five “emotional essentials”, or oil blends, in the collection, designed to be used at different times depending on what the client needs. Each blend is available in a Bath & Shower Elixir, Perfume Oil and candle.

Calm – a blend of rosewood, clary sage and lavandin – was formulated to “create an oasis of calm and sanctuary for the mind” and is described as a “soothing and hypnotic blend of aromatics”. The Clarity blend features energising bitter orange, refreshing cardamom and warming ginger to help sharpen concentration, “clear your mind and invigorate your sense of self”.

When extra strength from within is needed to overcome life obstacles or get through a tough day, the Fortitude blend, with ylang ylang, cedarwood and geranium, works to leave the user “feeling grounded and confident”. Warming vetiver, sweet frankincense and deep rose pepper make up the Embrace blend, formulated to “inspire a sense of adventure” and encourage the user to “dive straight into the heart of life’s opportunities”.

The final blend is Sleep, with patchouli, elemi and palmarosa, to help “leave your day behind and prepare to step peacefully into the bliss of a good night’s sleep”.

Elemis’s managing director Noella Gabriel (pictured) describes the range as “potent blends that are there to support you in your busy lifestyle.” She explains the inspiration behind Life Elixirs: “There’s a real consciousness around keeping fit, sleep patterns and mindfulness. We believe your lifestyle choices shape your skin and body every day, and choice is really important when it comes to skincare, body care and emotional care. That concept is the essence of the brand.”

The products are available individually and there are also neat gift sets. The Wellbeing Collection comprises two 10ml Bath & Shower Elixirs in either Clarity and Sleep or Calm and Fortitude, while the Mindful Collection features all five elixirs in 6ml bottles. “Life Elixirs is the real evolution of 25 years of knowledge, of being on the front line and listening to and meeting our clients’ needs…exciting them and making sure they come back and stay with Elemis,” adds Gabriel.
