The Massage Company signs franchise deal for three sites

Membership salon concept The Massage Company has completed its first franchise agreement for a three centre-multi site deal.

The deal was signed with Taran and Sophie Bassi, a couple who already run an IT consultancy business in London, and will see the pair open three Massage Company sites to join the existing company-owned branch in Camberley, Surrey, which opened last year.

“When we started hearing about The Massage Company we knew straight away it was a unique and interesting business model,” commeneted Taran Bassi.

“I knew if there was one near me then I would use it, which is a criterion we have been using when we looked around what was available. We intend to open our initial three sites as soon as possible with the plan to open more after that.”

Opening dates have not yet been finalised for the new franchise sites but all will sit within the company’s set model of an approximately 2,000-3,000sq ft footprint.

The Massage Company is also looking to expand outside the UK via overseas franchisees.
