A holistic approach

Dr Alannah Neville, founder and clinical director of The Pemberley Clinic, on the role of technology in personalised treatments

What is the ethos behind The Pemberley Clinic, and what’s its USP?

“The Pemberley Clinic is a high-end skin and health clinic in the heart of Portsmouth, and I truly believe it is one of a kind. Our focus has always been on delivering results while being incredibly caring towards our clients.

My journey started in dentistry, and as I transitioned into aesthetics, I built strong relationships with my clients, ensuring they received a high level of attention and care. That ethos has carried through into the clinic today – every member of our team shares that same commitment to client confidence and wellbeing.”

How has the clinic evolved since its launch?

“Initially, I was seeing both dental and aesthetic patients at our dental practice in Petersfield, but I realised my true passion lay in aesthetics. With space limitations at the practice, I set up a treatment room at home, working independently for four years. Eventually, I knew I needed to expand, and that’s when The Pemberley Clinic was born. After opening the clinic, I grew the team and invested in social media to build our brand. One of the biggest milestones was investing in the Sinclair V30 device, which allows us to offer a wider range of advanced treatments.”

How do you create personal skin journeys for clients?

“Every patient undergoes the same thorough consultation to ensure we cover everything. We’ve pioneered a unique programme called SK7 Skin, which follows seven key steps to provide the best level of care. This includes an in-depth medical history, discussion of past treatments and a focus on at-home skincare, which is at the heart of what we do. We use advanced skin screening technology to assess the patient’s needs before formulating a treatment plan.”

Why did you choose to work with Sinclair?

“I was first introduced to Sinclair through their injectables range, and I quickly saw that everything they offered was of the highest quality. Their commitment to scientific excellence, innovation and client safety aligned perfectly with our values. We use the V30, a multi-platform energy device with IPL, fractional radiofrequency and Nd-YAG laser. It has been transformative, especially for concerns like pigmentation and broken capillaries, which previously required external referrals. Now, we can provide rapid results in just one session, and our clients love it.”

How do Sinclair’s devices complement traditional beauty treatments?

“We’ve incorporated the V30’s radiofrequency into our relaxing facials, providing patients with instant, glowing results while still delivering an effective treatment. We also combine radiofrequency with regenerative treatments like polynucleotides, particularly for the under-eye area, where treatment options with minimal downtime are limited. The ability to blend advanced technology with traditional treatments has given us more pathways to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals faster.”

How important is education when offering advanced energy-based treatments?

“Education is everything. When we invested in the V30, Sinclair provided comprehensive training, and ongoing education is crucial to ensure we are delivering the safest, most effective treatments. Providers offering these treatments must commit to continuous learning to stay ahead of the latest advancements in technology and best practices. Ultimately, it’s about maintaining high standards and ensuring patients receive the best possible care.”
