Katie Price and fellow celebs reveal plans to make moves into salon market

Media personality Katie Price announced via Twitter that she plans to open a beauty salon, following in the footsteps of fellow reality TV alumni Amy Childs, who opened her salon after appearing on The Only Way is Essex.

Price shared the news in a tweet mentioning her excitement to visit the Professional Beauty London show in February to shop for products and equipment for the new salon. Price already has branded skincare and make-up ranges.

She’s not the only person in the spotlight to announce a new venture into beauty business ownership. Trisha Malik, mother of former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, also revealed to her social media followers that she is to open a salon in her hometown of Bradford.

She said the salon would offer spray tanning, nail services, make-up, and lash and brow treatments.
