Caudalie to open second London salon

French skincare brand Caudalie will open its second London boutique salon on April 27 on Northcote Road in Battersea, following the success of the first, which opened in Covent Garden in 2014.

The 645sq ft salon will include a large retail space and two treatment rooms, which will feature heated beds and Italian style showers. The design will be a modern interpretation of the brand’s heritage, incorporating oak and marble to give a “sensory experience”.

Jean-Christophe Samyn, director of Caudalie UK and Ireland, said the brand picked the site, situated between Wandsworth and Clapham Common, “because it’s a nice, trendy residential area that’s just a stone’s throw from the centre of London. It’s a good fit for the brand.”

As well as a menu packed with the brand’s most popular face and body treatments, there’s also going to be a “Do it Yourself” area where guests can create their own face mask after undergoing a free skin diagnosis, creating a more personalised approach to homecare.

The Do it Yourself kit consists of a facial treatment base from a choice of three masks, an active ingredient concentrate from a choice of three suited to the client’s current skin needs, and a mixer.
