Famous faces

Two of the industry’s most recognisable faces made appearances on ITV’s This Morning in February. Deborah Mitchell, founder of Heaven Skincare, went on the show on February 15 to show hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield some food-based beauty hacks including a “Nutella facial”. The following week, Karen Betts, director of Nouveau Beauty Group, made an appearance to give viewers the low-down on permanent make-up.

On-the-go glam

Gerrard International brands Jessica and Mii helped PB editor Eve and assistant editor Georgia get ready for the Professional Beauty Awards in February. Eve opted for a glossy berry Geleration manicure and a longwearing make-up base to last the night with a subtle metallic eye from Mii. Meanwhile, Georgia went for an aubergine-toned lip with enhanced lashes using Love Lashes in Simply Charming.

Open doors

A new aesthetic clinic in Liverpool with a £100,000 investment celebrated its opening with a launch party on March 4. Rose Lane Rejuvenation Clinic invited guests to meet the team, watch treatment demos and take part in a prize draw. The clinic officially opened on March 6 and offers treatments including laser, fillers and peels.

Irish meet

Machines brand Venus Concept held a networking event at the Westbury hotel in Dublin on February 27 for new and existing Irish customers and press. Guests learned about Venus’s treatment portfolio, shared social media advice and picked up new treatment ideas, as well as enjoying treatments and make-up applications.

Win it!

British beauty brand Bee Good is giving 10 readers a chance to get their hands on its Necta Perfecta Beautifying Mask, worth £39.95 each.

The face and body mask is billed as a “multi-tasking, youth-enhancing enzyme mask” that preps skin to better absorb skincare and body and tanning products applied afterwards. Suitable for mature, hormonal or dehydrated skins, the mask contains camelina oil; vitamin E-rich wheatgerm oil to help combat free radicals and add luminosity; British honey and beeswax for a plumping effect; and fruit acids to gently exfoliate and stimulate cell regeneration.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply email your name, address, company and job title to dominyka@professionalbeauty.co.uk by April 30, 2017.
