Spring BACK
Put the spring back into your clients’ skin with these advanced aesthetic devices offering the latest toning and acne-clearing treatment protocols
LPG Endermologie Body Anti-Cellulite Treatment
LPG’s new protocol works on all types of cellulite – aqueous, adipose and fibrous – using both mechanical cell stimulation and manual massage.
The device uses a patented treatment head combining a motorised roll and flap with a sequential suction. It softens skin and fatty tissue to make them less fibrous, while also helping to release fat and to activate blood and lymphatic circulation.
The treatment begins with skin prep using Glowing Resurfacing Body Cream, applied to the entire body in upward strokes. The client then puts on the LPG Endermowear suit and lies down on their stomach so the therapist can work the vacuum handpiece over their back, buttocks, and the backs of the legs to decongest and improve circulation.
The small-amplitude twisting motion or “swing” manoeuvre is then used on the buttocks and thighs to firm and reduce fibrosis. The client then turns over to lie on their back and the same two movements are carried out on the fronts of the thighs. This is followed with manual massage using Anti-cellulite cream-gel and Intensive anti-cellulite serum on both legs.
LPG says the average price charged by salons for the treatment is around £60 for a 30-minute session. 020 4538 3805 / endermologie.com
Plason PlasmaClear and PlasmaFacial
Artemis is bringing its Plason treatment to the UK market. The non-invasive treatment uses a new, advanced plasma technology which is clinically proven to effectively treat acne. The device can be used for two treatments, PlasmaClear and the longer PlasmaFacial, which has the addition of ultrasound technology.
PlasmaClear lasts between five and 10 minutes and is recommended for clients with severe acne or reactive skin. The treatment sterilises skin, removes bacteria and germs, and aids in transdermal absorption to stimulate skin regeneration and boost collagen by releasing ions and plasma radicals onto the skin.
The particles self-stabilise by attaching to the bacteria on the skin, going on to break down the molecular structure of the bacteria to eradicate germs and sterilise the skin.
The PlasmaFacial, recommended for all skin types, also involves serums, which are absorbed to the depth of the dermis.
Artemis recommends charging £76 for a PlasmaClear treatment, or £735 for 12 sessions, and £107 for a PlasmaFacial treatment, or £919 for 12 sessions. 020 7157 9758 / artemismktg.com
