Medik8 launches refreshed protocols and peels to the professional market

Cosmeceutical skincare brand Medik8 has refreshed its professional treatments. In order to better reflect the brand’s philosophy and be more in line with its homecare regimes, every Medik8 facial and peel now incorporates its CSA approach to skincare – vitamin C and sunscreen by day and vitamin A at night.

Each treatment will end with an application of vitamin C and SPF30 sunscreen, and clients will be gifted a sample of its vitamin A product that best suits their skin’s needs from a selection of three.

The brand has also launched six Combination Lifestyle Peels with time-release technology to minimise irritation from vitamin A. There are also three new Mono Peels, each with one type of acid in varying concentrations – glycolic, lactic or mandelic. These can be layered over any of the stronger peels or on particular areas of concern, allowing therapists to create bespoke peels.

The peels’ formulas have been improved with a more viscous texture to avoid pooling in crevices on the face and make them safer to use around the eyes.
