// Lash extension company Novalash has changed its brand colours to celebrate heading into its fifteenth year of business. It will use bolder hues, ranging from bright pinks to fluorescent greens.

“This fresh, more colourful approach mirrors our current direction and spirit in the industry,” said chief executive Sophy Merszei.

// Elemis opened its second Skin Exchange last month in London shopping centre Westfield White City. Situated in department store John Lewis, the concept allows customers to build their own facial from a three-tier skincare menu. The brand’s first Skin Exchange opened in John Lewis Oxford Street last year.

// Martine Jarman won Aesthetic Therapist of the Year at the 2018 MyFaceMyBody Awards. Jarman, who owns SkinGenius Clinic in Warrington, picked up the award at the March event at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London. The Awards were presented by founder Stephen Handisides and Aesthetic Medicine editor Vicky Eldridge.

// Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa in Chester has completed the first stage of its refurbishment since coming under new ownership. New nail stations and pedicure chairs have been added, and the gym has been upgraded. The next addition will be a fourth treatment room.

// Hoar Cross Hall in Burtonupon- Trent has appointed Phil Murphy as leisure and spa director. Murphy will manage a team of 70. He has 15 years’ experience and joins from QHotels, where he was group leisure and spa operations manager.
