Glow GETTERS

This month’s launches are dominated by acid-packed skincare that promises to give clients freshly glowing skin

New Products

Elemis

Elemis has expanded the Dynamic Resurfacing line with Facial Pads, single-use pads soaked in a solution that combines lactic acid with the brand’s tri-enzyme technology and a probiotic ferment complex. Designed to gently resurface the skin and work on smoothness and luminosity, the pads help break up peptide bonds and stimulate the skin’s self-renewal process while keeping it hydrated.

RRP: £39 for 60 pads 0117 316 1888 elemis.com

Heaven

New from Heaven Skincare is the V5 multifunctional laser platform. For permanent hair removal, the laser uses a high repetition rate of single pulses to deliver heat deep into the dermis, while for skin rejuvenation, the 1320nm shockwave stimulates the proliferation of collagen and helps rearrange elastin fibres to smooth out deep wrinkles. The platform is also designed for tattoo removal and combines 1064nm and 532nm shockwaves to shatter pigment particles.

Trade: £17,800 01952 462505 heavenskincare.com

Skinceuticals

Glycolic 10 Renew Overnight is a nightly treatment formulated to dissolve cellular cohesions and promote cell turnover with a free acid value of 10% glycolic. The product also includes 2% phytic acid, which is found in legumes and seeds and has a molecular structure that provides comprehensive exfoliation, as well as a soothing complex including jojoba and sunflower seed oils to comfort the skin.

Trade: £46.67 for 50ml 0800 028 2331 skinceuticals.co.uk

Environ

New to the Skin EssentiA range is Low Foam Cleansing Gel, which gently removes makeup, excess oil and surface impurities while supporting the skin’s moisture balance. Free from SLES, the cleanser washes off easily and contains conditioning agents that assist in moisturising the skin at the same time as cleansing. The gel should be used after precleansing the skin.

Trade: £16 for 200ml 020 8450 2020 (IIAA) iiaa.eu

CND

CND’s Shellac collection for summer is Boho Spirit, with four sunny hues designed to complement any skin tone. The shades are: vibrant-pink Offbeat, pale-terracotta Uninhibited, sandy blonde Vagabond and zesty orange Gypsy. The collection is also available in Vinylux, which has been reformulated to be more caring to nails with keratin and jojoba oil.

Spongellé

The sponge brand has added the Men’s Extreme Buffer to its range. Infused with a body wash blend of cayenne pepper, bergamot absolute and hydrating coconut oil, the sponge exfoliates as it cleanses skin and has a “time-released lather”. There are two sizes; a smaller sponge that claims to give 12-plus washes and a bigger for 20- plus washes.

Trade: from £4.98 0345 217 1360 (Gerrard International) gerrardinternational.com

3D-lipo

The 3D-NanoSure is a tattoo removal platform that claims to remove 95% of tattoos across a wide spectrum of ink colours.

The platform uses a dualwavelength Q-switched Nd:YAG laser, which produces a quick, powerful pulse that shatters tattoo ink without harming surrounding tissue or causing scarring, according to 3D-lipo. The 1064nm wavelength works on black, blue and other dark colours, while the 532nm removes bright shades.
