Innovations in body-sculpting technology have led beauty industry trends this year. Here’s what makes the Zionic different

A new, innovative device for body sculpting and cellulite treatment was introduced this year by Cosmeditech. Manufactured in Spain by TermoSalud, the Zionic is the first device to combine active rotational massage with resistive monopolar radiofrequency. This unique combination promotes the acceleration of the production of collagen and elastin, increases metabolism of fat cells and compaction of adipose tissue.

It also promotes excretion of toxins and waste products by activating the lymphatic system and achieves an improvement in blood vascularisation.

Zionic generates a double thermal and mechanical effect that triggers three actions on the treated tissues and ensures maximum effectiveness in reduction of cellulite, body contouring, skin tightening and muscle toning.

Dermal action

It activates the fibroblasts by stimulating their proliferation and the synthesis of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic fibres, among others, improving the appearance of the skin, which recovers elasticity and density.

Action on muscles

The mechanical activation of the myofibroblasts (specialised fibroblasts in the muscle tissue) promotes synthesis of new myosin and actin fibres – structural proteins fundamental for the contraction of the muscles – which contributes to the improvement, maintenance and regulation of muscle tone.

Vascular action

Rotational massage treatment increases heat at a local level, producing analgesic effects; it increases the peripheral blood flow and improves the oxygenation of the tissue and elimination of waste substances. Zionic improves venous return and, therefore, lymphatic circulation.

Versatility

Zionic lets you easily configure and control both the energy of the resistive radiofrequency and the rotational speed, in order to adapt the treatment to each patient safely and effectively. It makes it possible to offer different treatments to a single patient.

Ergonomic and intuitive

The Zionic handpiece is the result of many years of research and development in coordination with professionals who are experts in cutting-edge techniques of manual massage. It is manufactured with low-density materials and alloys with high mechanical resistance.

The handpiece incorporates in its interior a coreless, low-inertia gear motor: precise, small and light. This technology has enabled the treatment head to be lighter and smaller and produce less noise, compared with other technologies. Its integrated temperature sensor monitors the temperature of the zone being treated at all times to ensure maximum effectiveness and safety. Results can be seen immediately post treatment and improve with each session.

The combination of resistive radiofrequency and active rotational massage allows a number of treatments in one session, addressing cellulite, skin tightening, muscle stimulation, collagen production and fat reduction.
