With three packed programmes, the live education at Olympia Beauty promises insight and innovation whatever your specialism
Now under the Professional Beauty stable, Olympia Beauty has a whole new education offering for 2023. The show will boast two innovative live stages – one focusing on advanced beauty and skin treatment trends and techniques, the other on health, wellbeing and alternative therapies. For nail techs and learners, a specialised programme of nail skill workshops will offer hands-on skill building. Here is just a taste of what’s on offer.
Advanced Beauty Stage
Focusing on the technologies and techniques that will help you take your beauty business to the next level, this stage will deliver live demos and expert advice on strengthening the skin barrier, maximising the results of laser treatments, delivering active ingredients and much more.

• Menopause wellness: empowering skin professionals to manage peri/menopause symptoms in themselves and their clients with Jazz Sidhu, beauty therapist and licensed menopause coach
Session spotlight:
Combining laser with other technologies for bespoke skin rejuvenation programmes Kerry Belba runs Laser Skin Solutions clinic in Bournemouth and was the first aesthetic laser practitioner in the UK to be voted on the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA) as an executive board member. In this session, she will uncover the best combination treatments that involve using laser alongside other technologies.
In her own clinic, Belba delivers treatments using lasers, IPL and energy-based devices such as LED, HIFU and RF microneedling to treat concerns such as rosacea, acne, acne scarring and skin ageing. Don’t miss this session on Monday, October 16, at 12pm.

Health & Wellbeing Stage
From naturopathy to massage to mental wellbeing, these sessions will cover all aspects of the burgeoning health and wellbeing industry to help you implement new therapies and practices into your beauty business. Learn from industry leaders about how to improve your skills in trending treatments and where to look when expanding into new holistic areas to attract and retain a wider client base.

Session spotlight:
How to use naturopathy and nutrition for skin, nail and hair health Discover the connection between inner health and outer beauty in this transformative skin health talk. Join naturopathic nutritional therapist and herbalist Izzy Seadon as she unveils the secrets to rejuvenating your clients’ skin and enhancing their natural beauty through diet and herbal remedies.
You will learn how diet, supplements and herbs can enhance your clients’ appearance, the real causes behind ageing and poor hair, skin and nail health, plus natural recipes and remedies for glossy hair and glowing, radiant skin. Don’t miss this session on Sunday, October 15, at 1pm.

Nail Workshops
Raise your profile, upskill your nail artistry and learn from the best brands by participating in our live one-hour workshops at the show. Each workshop will be a “talk and try” session. Brands will provide the kit to use (bring your kit if you would like to use yours instead). These sessions are aimed at both nail professionals and students.

Session spotlight:
Structured: find your strength spot with the Gelish trio: Structure, Builder and Flex In this hands-on session, Gelish educator Amy Martin will demo Structure, the brand’s brush-on structure gel; Brush-On Builder – the multitasking product that helps you build length and strength; and Foundation Flex, the soak-off rubber-base nail gel that offers volume and ultra- flexible protection. Visitors will get the chance to play with the products and learn how they work to build strong nails.
