When choosing a training provider, reputation was the most important consideration for 40% of respondents, with the qualifications being offered coming in as second most important (28%), location in third (15%) and the techniques offered fourth (9%).
The natural world is full of inspiration for nail techs who offer nail art, and animal-themed designs are seeing a rise in popularity. Leopard print remains a client favourite for more than half of you (54%), while feathers (31%) and zebra print (23%) also see regular requests. The people who participated represent a cross-section of the industry and were polled by email from September 1 to September 9, regarding business for the month to August 31. Nail business for the Insider Nails page was calculated from data provided by salons that offer nail services among other treatments. The figures given represent the average score for each answer. Brands are ranked when mentioned by several respondents.
