As summer gets underway, many of you are starting to receive requests for bolder beauty looks from clients.

The desire for glowing, sun-kissed summer skin means that 12% of you are finding that glossy make-up textures are popular with your clients. Similarly, festival season is seeing a rise in requests for diamanté detailing (13%) and ’90s-style dark nude lips (10%). However, one trend which hasn’t changed with the seasons is the demand for fluffy brows, with 44% of you reporting that this is your most asked-for look.

Meanwhile, as the sunny weather is making it more enjoyable to spend time outdoors, some of you are trying to replicate this in your salons’ interior design, with 27% of you reporting that you attempt to “bring the outside in” by incorporporating nature-inspired features in your salon.
