This month’s hot new treatment launches use advanced technology to deliver active ingredients deeper into the skin

Lynton EPN Pen

Lynton has partnered with Korean aesthetic technology specialist Eunsung to bring the EPN Pen to the UK. This medically certified device combines a microneedling pen with electroporation technology to provide a minimally invasive treatment for concerns including fine lines and wrinkles, scarring, open pores, uneven skin texture and laxity.

The electroporation technology uses electro-impulses to create temporary unstable channels within the cell membranes, allowing topical products to be introduced more quickly and directly. The pairing of electroporation with microneedling means results are improved because serums with a high molecular weight can be induced into deeper dermal layers. The device also stimulates production of new, stronger collagen and elastin fibres.

Each technology can be used independently, allowing therapists to tailor the treatment. A full face treatment usually takes up to 60 minutes, including a cleanse of the skin prior to treatment and cooling of the skin after.

Lynton recommends charging £295 for a 60-minute full-face treatment. 01477 536 977 lynton.co.uk

Environ Focus On Filler Treatment

Created to offer a non-invasive alternative – or complementary treatment – to dermal fillers, the latest facial from Environ features the brand’s new Professional Dual Effect Filler Serum in combination with its Ionzyme DF machine.

In this new 30-minute intense facial, the device’s dual electro-sonic technology helps to deliver the active ingredients in the new serum deep into to the skin where they are needed most, penetrating the skin’s natural protective barrier to smooth the look of lines and restore a plumped look to the skin. Key ingredients include hexapeptide adyfiline, which improves appearance of volume in targeted areas, and trademarked ingredients optimhyal and reproage to stimulate hyaluronic acid production and target signs of ageing.

Environ says the Focus On Foller treatment is safe for all clients and can be adapted to target specific areas. It is also suitable for clients who have had dermal fillers, when performed two weeks or more after the filler.

Environ distributor iiaa recommends charging £45 for the 30-minute treatment. 020 8450 2020 iiaa.eu
