The brand’s five-piece Phenom Heaven on Earth spring collection is inspired by Shangri-La, with the brand stating that the new collection encourages clients to “embrace a moment of calm and tranquillity”. As well as the Phenom Base Coat and Finale Shine for a glossy gel-like finish, the collection includes pastel pink crème Angel Wing, pale yellow crème Halo and pale lavender crème Heaven Sent. The shades are vegan friendly and have a vitamin-enriched formula, developed to be gentle for nails.

2 Biologique Recherche

The French skincare brand’s reformulated Le Grand Sérum product now contains “TélomerActiv”, which acts on the chromosomes, slowing the cellular ageing process. It also has 27 anti-wrinkle, antioxidant, firming and regenerating ingredients, including hyaluronic acid and extracts of witch hazel and centella asiatica. Also new is Huile Fondamentale Body, a concentrated complex of six botanical oils including cotton and sacha inchi, in a spray format to moisturise dry skin.

The skincare brand has added two products to its Iluma range. Intense Facial Illuminator is a pigment corrector with tranexamic acid, vitamin C and an antioxidant peptide to reduce the appearance of dark spots while supporting skin elasticity. Intense Brightening Exfoliating Cleanser is a cream-to-foam cleanser and exfoliator that uses bamboo spheres and mushroom-derived enzymes to refine skin. The brand has also extended its Vital C range with the addition of lightweight spray Hydrating Facial Mist.

3 3D Aesthetics

Broken capillaries can be difficult to treat, which is why 3D Aesthetics has launched 3D-Vasculase –a device to remove thread veins using 980nm laser technology. The red blood cells in thread veins absorb the laser energy, causing the blood within them to heat up, damaging the wall of the vein. This causes thread veins to close down and be absorbed by the body. The treatment can target broken capillaries on the thighs, calves, ankles and face, and the brand says it can remove up to 90% of thread veins in a single session.

New from Murad is Vita-C Triple Exfoliating Facial, a resurfacing product that uses physical, enzymatic and chemical exfoliators to smooth skin texture as effectively as a professional microdermabrasion facial, claims the brand. The triple active exfoliators include: micro-mineral exfoliants to remove dead cells; high-performing enzymes to dissolve oil debris and dulling cells; and AHAs glycolic and lactic acid and BHA salicylic acid to exfoliate, brighten and purify.
