As competition in the beauty industry grows, making sure your business stands out from the crowd has never been more important. Having a unique voice is key for securing loyal customers, which is why two thirds of you (65%) have been working hard to make sure your brand message is consistent across all marketing materials. Using original images instead of stock ones (31%) and making the right monetary investment (31%) has also helped you create a popular and authentic brand.

With machine-based body treatments growing in popularity, cellulite is now the biggest concern you treat (30%), followed closely by weight loss (15%) and brown spots (12%). Plus, with news breaking that beauty therapist Erika Hodgkiss saved four of her clients’ lives after spotting cancerous moles on their skin, more than three quarters of your therapists (76%) now want to undertake skin cancer detection training.
