The national Professional Beauty Awards open for entries on June 1 for the following categories:

• Employer of the Year

• Nail Salon of the Year

• Nail Professional of the Year

• Medical Aesthetic Clinic of the Year

• Therapist of the Year

• Make-up Specialist of the Year

The shortlist for the other five categories (Large Beauty Salon, Boutique Beauty Salon, Day Spa, Residential Spa: 11 Rooms or More, and Residential Spa: 10 Rooms or Fewer) will be made up from the winners and particularly high-scoring finalists of the PB Regional Awards, which take place in Manchester on October 21.

As well as a trophy and a huge boost in industry recognition, winners of the Professional Beauty Awards also benefit from dedicated PR support, giving them professional press releases, videos, logos and images to make the most of the win.

The awards, which have been running since 1997, are widely regarded as the fairest and most comprehensive in the industry, with every finalist either visited, interviewed or trade tested by independent industry expert judges
