Business Trends
Nail business was up across the board in February, with salons and spas performing on average 35 treatments per week. Clients are now opting for softer nail shapes such as the oval, squoval and square, in keeping with the seasonal change, and you’ve told us that you get most of your information about nail care products from beauty suppliers, social media and trade magazines such as Professional Beauty.
However, only 4% of your techs have entered a professional competition, despite the recognition and prestige that comes with winning. Find out how taking part in PB’s International Nail Championships could reap rewards for your techs and your business on page 80.
