ASHMIRA BOTANICA LAUNCH HERRICK GALLERY, LONDON
Spa managers, therapists and beauty trade press attended the launch of new waxing brand Ashmira Botanica in central London in March. The brand, co-created by waxing experts Tracey Smith and Andy Rouillard, offers a strip and peelable wax, both in sparkly purple. Guests watched Rouillard demonstrate a chest and underarm wax, before Professional Beauty managing director Mark Moloney volunteered to get his nostrils waxed to help demo the range.
BIO SCULPTURE MUM BLOGGER EVENT MONDRIAN HOTEL, LONDON
The nail brand hosted an event for blogger mums to take some time out to relax and meet other bloggers. The 12 guests received a Bio Sculpture Vegan Gel Manicure and listened to how to become a certified Bio Sculpture nail tech in order to channel their creativity while working around their families. Guests also enjoyed massages and afternoon tea.
MEDIK8 LAUNCH EVENT CONDÉ NAST COLLEGE OF FASHION & DESIGN, LONDON
Assistant editor Georgia Seago got a lesson in vitamin A with Medik8 at the launch of its new products. A healthy breakfast was served before dermatologist Uliana Gout broke down the science of vitamin A and its various forms, followed by an introduction to two new Medik8 retinal products from the brand’s formulation and development director, Daniel Issacs.

Dr Renaud distributor Skin Evolution held a daylong masterclass for salon owners and therapists to get to grips with the brand, its products and treatment protocols. Dr Renaud export manager Nawel Tahiri and Skin Evolution directors Karen Wadman and Sarah Gregory led presentations and demonstrations of the new Grapefruit Body treatments. Attendees also took part in a retail skills workshop.
ORCHIDS RETREAT SEASONAL SKINCARE UPDATE THE SOHO HOTEL, LONDON
Facialist Diana Jenner, owner of Orchids Retreat salon in Lymington, held her fourth seasonal skincare update in March at The Soho Hotel, where she has a weekly facial residency. Jenner gave clients a lesson on dealing with skin sensitivity through the transition from winter to spring, and introduced several new Dermalogica products. Guests were guided through an acupressure facial massage demo using key products from the line.
