SAKS AWARDS HILTON METROPOLE, LONDON

Saks franchisees, therapists and stylists from across the country came together in London in January for the salon group’s annual awards ceremony. The event was hosted by managing director Stephen Kee, who oversaw the handing out of awards including Hair & Beauty Salon of the Year, which went to Saks West Bridgford; Beauty Salon of the Year, awarded to Saks Beauty Northallerton; and new category Woman of the Year, won by Claire Denyer of Saks Kings Hill.

ELEMIS FEED YOUR SKIN EVENT CAROUSEL, LONDON

PB’s editor Eve Oxberry and deputy editor Amanda Pauley attended the exclusive launch of Elemis’s new Superfood Skincare Range, which is nutrient-dense and vegan-friendly. The brand’s global training and education director Nicci Anstey talked the duo through the collection, before Eve was treated to a 15-minute taster facial using the products and Biotec technology. Healthy juices and canapes were served.

HD BROWS AT DANCING ON ICE BOVINGTON AIRFIELD, HERTFORDSHIRE

HD Brows lead stylist Jamie Long and elite stylist Millie Sharpe were backstage during the 10th series of ITV show Dancing on Ice to tend to contestants’ brows. Celebrities and professional skaters alike received HD Brows treatments using hero products Pro Pencil and Brow Crème.

CRYSTAL CLEAR VIP FACIALS LIVERPOOL

Coronation Street actors Kym Marsh and Brooke Vincent paid a visit to Crystal Clear in Liverpool for an H20 Glow facial in between filming. Both posted pictures of the experience on social media. The 60-minute treatment combines cryo oxygen and a special skin infusion with use of the Comcit roller.

LITTLE WHITE BOOK LAUNCH

AGUA SPA AT THE SANDERSON, LONDON

PB editor Eve Oxberry and assistant editor Georgia Seago attended the launch of the Little White Book, a new concept in aftercare advice for clients, at The Sanderson in February. The panel – aromatherapist Henri Cassar, Made for Life Organics founder Amanda Winwood, De Mamiel founder Annee De Mamiel and Eve Lom, cranio-sacral therapist and founder of the eponymous skincare brand – talked all things wellness before guests went upstairs to the spa for champagne and canapés.

TERESA TARMEY PRODUCT LAUNCH PARTY

Celebrity facialist Teresa Tarmey held a launch party to celebrate the release of her first product, an at-home facial system dubbed The Teresa Tarmey programme. Guests and clients of Tarmey’s in attendance included Sienna Miller, Poppy Delevingne, Sara MacDonald, Mary Charteris and Katie Keight.
