From skin-rebooting facials to biomicroneedling, we discover how the latest treatments deliver visible results with minimal downtime

Million Dollar Facial Bio-Cell Trinity +

Million Dollar Facial System has launched Bio-Cell Trinity +, a biomicroneedling system positioned as an evolution of traditional device-led resurfacing.

The protocol combines biodegradable spicules, plant-derived exosomes and vegan PDRN within a single structured treatment designed to support skin regeneration through a staged approach: Activate, Signal, Reinforce and Direct.

Dermachannel spicules form micro-channels to enhance ingredient penetration, while actives such as niacinamide and arbutin address tone and texture. Exosomes and PDRN are positioned to support firmness, hydration and barrier function.

A final phase offers targeted ampoules for hydration, radiance or barrier balance. The system is designed for customisable, biologically-driven microneedling protocols.

Tried & tested: Dermure Ultra-Facial

The lowdown: Dermure’s Ultra-Facial is a multi-dimensional skin treatment using The Smart Group’s Ultrafacial system, which combines up to 10 technologies to cleanse, exfoliate and nourish the skin, according to each client’s unique skin profile. The experience: I visited Dermure Clinic in Windlesham, Surrey, which is owned by The Smart Group. My treatment began with an advanced skin-diagnostic assessment. Clare Feltham, an advanced beauty and aesthetics practitioner, carried out the assessment, helping to establish my skin's levels of moisture, collagen, elasticity, pH and oil. What impressed me most was just how much information could be gathered before the facial had even begun. Armed with these insights, Feltham created a personalised treatment plan for my Ultra-Facial, while also identifying areas to focus on in future treatments. Following consultation, the facial began with a deep cleanse and exfoliation using the Ultrafacial's Aqua Peel attachment. Using hydrodermabrasion, the device works to remove dead skin cells and impurities.

Next came the Ultrasonic Cleanser, which uses high-frequency vibrations to further cleanse the skin and target blackheads.

Congestion was one of my main concerns, so I was particularly interested in this stage. Midway through, Feltham paused to show me the physical results of the extraction process and it was incredibly satisfying to see the amount of debris that had been removed.

Next came the Bipolar RF attachment, which uses radiofrequency to stimulate collagen production and improve firmness, and the Micro Lift attachment, which uses low-level electrical currents to stimulate facial muscles, to lift and sculpt.

The Thermo + Cryo attachment was then used to stimulate circulation and increase absorption rate, while calming the skin and reducing redness. This was one of my favourite parts – the cooling sensation was so pleasant that I asked Feltham if we could lower the temperature further.

In the final stages, Feltham used the Oxyboost tool, which creates the Bohr effect, allowing oxygen to be drawn into the skin. To finish off, she selected the AQ Active Serum and Eye Serum, which use patented growth factor technology to help improve skin texture, face spots and scars, and leave skin smoother, firmer and visible healthier. The verdict: My skin looked visibly smoother immediately following the treatment, with acne scarring looking less inflamed. With the Ultra-Facial comprising multiple stages, the treatment did a great job at addressing a range of my concerns – from congested pores to redness and skin texture. Business benefits: The treatment time can range from 30-90 minutes, depending on each client’s skin concerns. With results visible instantly, minimal discomfort and little-to-no downtime, this facial is a great option for a variety of clients, thanks it its customised nature.

Tried & tested: Katherine Daniels Skin Resurrection Treatment 2.0

The lowdown: Katherine Daniels’s new Skin Resurrection Treatment 2.0 is a 40-minute facial designed to rebalance and reboot skin function using hydrating, nourishing ingredients. The treatment is tailored following a skin consultation, with therapists selecting a hero mask product to suit the client’s skin needs. The experience: I tried the treatment with Katherine Daniels co-founder Donna Tait at Iris Avenue in London. During consultation Tait assessed my skin and selected the products she felt would best address its needs. She explained that while the treatment is quite short, every step is designed to deliver maximum results, making it suitable for clients looking for a visible skin boost without committing to a long appointment.

After cleansing with Essential Cleansing Milk and Essential Toning Lotion, she applied Essential Exfoliating Gel which transformed into an oil-like texture as she massaged it into the skin. She explained that while it contained AHAs, these came in a gentle form from red algae.

The hero of my treatment was the Repairing Nourishing Mask from the Comfort & Care range, which Tait chose to soothe the redness and reactiveness my skin was experiencing at the time. Rich and creamy, it was applied generously while Tait explained the blend of seaweed extracts, blue microalgae and nourishing ingredients. While the mask worked its magic, she carried out a relaxing massage.

The facial finished with Skin Defence Cream. These are also selected to suit the client’s skin, with four choices covering light or rich textures for either dry or sensitive skins. Tait chose the sensitive, rich cream for me, topping it with application of SPF. The verdict: My skin looked noticeably fresher and more hydrated immediately afterwards, with a healthy glow rather than a shiny finish. In the following days, it felt comfortable with the redness and reactiveness noticeably reduced. Business benefits: With a treatment time of just 40 minutes, Skin Resurrection 2.0 is easy to fit into a busy diary while still delivering visible results. Tait and her Katherine Daniels co-founder Kirsti Shuba told me it's proving popular as a pre-event treatment as clients leave with an immediate glow.

Katherine Daniels recommends charging £65 to £80 for the 40-minute facial. katherinedanielscosmetics.com

Tried & tested: Revive & Restore with Aquagold facial

The lowdown: The Revive & Restore with Aquagold facial at Christina Bethany Clinic combines chemical exfoliation, microchannelled skincare delivery and LED light therapy in a 90-minute treatment designed to boost hydration, radiance and overall skin quality. Taking place at Bethany’s Harley Street location, the treatment is often referred to as a "red carpet facial", promising smoother texture and a more luminous complexion with minimal downtime. The experience: Bethany's background in both luxury spa environments and aesthetics became apparent almost immediately. Rather than launching straight into the facial, she spent time assessing my skin, discussing my concerns and explaining exactly how each stage of the treatment would work together to improve hydration and support skin rejuvenation.

The treatment began with a deep cleanse followed by professional-strength AHAs to gently exfoliate and accelerate cell turnover. The Aquagold stage was the one I was most curious about. Despite involving tiny gold-plated needles, the device felt surprisingly comfortable as it was stamped across the skin. The stamping action felt quick and controlled, with only mild prickling in more sensitive areas. Bethany customised the cocktail of ingredients to target hydration and skin quality, explaining how microchanneling allows actives to reach the superficial layers of the skin more effectively.

The treatment then finished with LED light therapy and traditional facial elements designed to calm and nourish. The verdict: The immediate difference in my skin was noticeable. My complexion looked fresher, more even and significantly hydrated, with the sort of glow that usually only appears after a week of good sleep and diligent skincare. There was some mild redness immediately afterwards, but this settled quickly. It's easy to see why Aquagold has earned its reputation as a pre-event treatment. Business benefits: This facial combines multiple modalities in a single appointment, helping justify a higher treatment price point while addressing concerns including dehydration, dullness and early signs of ageing. Its appeal as both an event-preparation treatment and a longer-term skin maintenance option also creates opportunities for repeat bookings and personalised treatment plans.

Christina Bethany charges £495 for the Revive & Restore with Aquagold facial. christinabethany.com
