ANDREIA PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY DAY

SOHO WORKS, LONDON

Nail, makeup and haircare brand Andreia Professional hosted key press at a discovery day at London co-working space Soho Works in December. The brand’s UK country manager Paul McLintock, along with the team from PR company Essence, introduced guests, including Professional Beauty editor Eve Oxberry, to the brand’s latest launches over breakfast. They were also treated to gel manicures at the experienced hands of session nail tech Janel Grant. Eve chose a stunning shade from Andreia’s Meowgic cat eye collection – MC1, a magnetic silver glitter with pink shimmers. The visit was rounded off with Andreiabranded cupcakes and goodie bags containing a selection of the brand’s best-sellers.

RAFFLES LONDON AT THE OWO, LONDON

Pinterest brought together senior leadership and media, including features editor Ellen Cummings, for an in-depth look at how the platform identifies emerging trends and why they matter commercially. The morning featured insights from Pinterest chief executive Bill Ready, global head of trends and insights Sydney Stanback, and UK managing director Beth Horn, who unveiled Pinterest Predicts 2026. Drawing on the behaviour of over 600 million monthly users, the annual report outlines 21 fast-rising trends expected to shape consumer behaviour next year. Guests also heard how trends are accelerating faster than ever, and how Pinterest is translating insight into action through new on-platform shopping.

IIAA PRESS DINNER

BROTHER MARCUS SOHO, LONDON

The team from brand creator and distributor International Institute for Active Ageing (IIAA) hosted the editorial teams from Professional Beauty and Cosmetics Business for a festive get together and a catch up about plans for 2026. Over cocktails and mezze at mediterranean restaurant Brother Marcus, IIAA director Tracy Tamaris and PR manager Kairit Kutt revealed some of the new product development coming up from IIAA brands Environ, Advanced Nutrition Programme and Et Al. The teams also made plans for upcoming content.
