LYNTON REDTOUCH PRO LAUNCH
TOWER BRIDGE, LONDON
Aesthetic laser and IPL manufacturer Lynton invited clinic owners and members of the press and to celebrate the launch of the new Redtouch Pro – the first laser designed to directly target collagen – at the iconic Tower Bridge. Taking place along one of the panoramic walkways, 33.5m above the city streets below, guests were treated to cocktails and canapés, before chatting to Lynton’s educators to find out more about the new machine. Members from both Professional Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine’s editorial teams joined the celebration, hearing from Lynton’s managing director Jon Exley, sales manager Jamie Cross, and general manager of DEKA Laser, Paolo Salvadeo.
BABTAC & CIBTAC AWARDS 2025
FAIRMONT WINDSOR PARK, BERKSHIRE
Industry associations Babtac and Cibtac held their annual awards in November to recognise salons, therapists and educators. PB's editor Eve Oxberry and features editor Ellen Cummings were invited to join the party. Guests networked at a drinks reception before sitting down for a three-course meal. The awards were introduced by Babtac chief executive Lesley Blair and hosted by skincare expert Caroline Hirons, with 22 winners announced over the course of the evening. Some of those recognised included Toni-Lee Richardson of Skin Couture Beauty in Lincolnshire, who won Small Salon, Jenny Storey & Kate Berry of Urban Retreat in Scotland who won Employer, Rebecca Doyle of Wellness House Collective, who took home Spa Leader, and Beauty and Aesthetics at The Gate in Holton-le-Clay, which won Large Salon.
BEAUTY DIRECTORS CLUB BEAUTY ROUND UP
TRAFFORD COLLEGE, MANCHESTER
The Beauty Directors Club and Habia hosted the first of a new series of Beauty Round Up events in Manchester. The networking event provided beauty salon and skin clinic owners, managers and professionals with the opportunity to connect with brands in an intimate environment and learn from fellow beauty business owners.
Following canapés prepared by students from the college, attendees, including PB’s senior content writer Josie Jackson, watched a presentation from Joan Scott, chief executive of Habia, on the current issues facing the industry, from licensing to CPD and accreditation. Next came a session from Helena Grzesk MBE, who shared the latest developments in cancer touch therapy. Susan Routledge, founder of the Beauty Directors Club, then hosted a panel featuring salon owners Kathy Scott, Rebecca Elsdon, Sara Shoemark and Verity Davies on video content to increase turnover, managing and motivating a team and the importance of a positive work-life balance.

THE VIEW ROOM AT THE IVY, LONDON
Image Skincare welcomed guests to an intimate winter lunch at The Ivy’s View Room, offering a chance for a calm catch up before the festive season rush. The brand’s salon and spa partners, as well as press including PB’s Eve, gathered for drinks, a three-course lunch, and conversation and connection. The brand’s educator Charlene Murray then shared insights into Image’s holiday gifting range, explaining key launches and ingredients while attendees explored the new products. The event concluded with gift bags containing the brand's Gold Standard gift set to try at home, featuring best-sellers from the brand including Ormedic balancing facial cleanser Imula intense brightening serum and Vital C hydrating repair crème.
JANE IREDALE BLUSH AND BREATHE EVENT
VITA BOUTIQUE FITNESS, LONDON
Makeup brand Jane Iredale welcomed beauty press, including PB’s Ellen, to Vita Boutique Fitness in Sloane Square for the launch of Colorluxe Liquid Blush. The morning combined wellness and beauty, beginning with a guided mat Pilates session, followed by personalised one-to-one consultations with the new liquid blush.
Guests were introduced to all seven shades in the range, exploring buildable, moisturising formulations designed to provide antioxidant protection and long-lasting colour. The event offered hands-on guidance on application techniques, allowing press to experience the blend of skincare benefits and vibrant, customisable colour firsthand.
THE SKIN INVESTMENT CLINIC HALO LASER BBL LAUNCH
SHOELANDS FARM, FARNHAM
To showcase the launch of its new Halo Laser BBL, The Skin Investment Clinic, founded by skin health and acne specialist Holly Mason, hosted an early Christmas celebration with VIP clients and select industry press. PB’s Josie had the chance to experience the BBL treatment as part of a demonstration, while guests were also invited to experience face scans and Hydrafacials. Drinks and festive canapés were offered, while a small, local jewellery business provided the perfect opportunity for a little shopping.
