The Professional Beauty London Competitions are back, offering an exciting opportunity for professionals and students to demonstrate their talent, creativity and expertise across nail, makeup and facial disciplines. With categories designed to challenge and inspire, these competitions are the perfect platform to gain recognition for your skills.

To celebrate dedication to education and the industry, Habia CPD Certificates will be awarded to lecturers who bring their learners to compete.

So, whether you’re a seasoned expert or an up-andcoming star, these competitions are your chance to shine and take your artistry to the next level.

Nail Competitions

Nail competitions are making a comeback at Professional Beauty London, in collaboration with Jacqui and Sean O’Sullivan. There will be six live categories and two off-floor categories for both professionals and students.

Take the opportunity to challenge yourself in the Learn a Skill session with nail industry icon Kirsty Meakin, or showcase your flawless prep work in the Manicure category. If nail art is your forte, unleash your creativity with digital game-themed work in our off-floor categories.

This year’s categories offer challenges, from capturing timeless elegance in the Best of Bridal to exploring the natural world of Into the Woods in the Body Paint category. Dive into the bold world of 1960s sci-fi icons for Character, or embrace the dark allure of Gothic Glamour in Creative Front Cover.

Whatever you’re inspired by, there’s a category for your skills.

Facial Competitions

Put your skills to the test in the new Facial Competitions, where professionals and students alike can showcase their expertise in delivering a flawless 60-minute facial treatment. Participants will be judged on their technique, professionalism and client care.

The task:

• A consultation will take place in advance, a completed consultation form will be provided to be updated during treatment.

• Perform a thorough cleanse of the eyes, lips, face, neck and shoulders.

• Conduct a detailed skin analysis.

• Provide an exfoliation treatment to prepare the skin.

• Deliver a 20-minute facial massage.

• Apply a visible, opaque mask, paired with either a hand and arm massage or a scalp massage while the mask is on (10 minutes).

• Complete the treatment with toning, moisturising and professional homecare advice.

Entry fee: Professionals £35, students £20.
