Retail business also saw a boost, with 40% experiencing better sales year-on-year, underscoring a strong festive season for both treatments and product offerings.

Flexible working hours are a priority for 82% of spas, ensuring staff are supported while meeting client needs. This adaptability enhances team morale and helps maintain the high levels of service that clients value.

Wellness offerings are also diversifying, with many spas integrating fitness and mental wellbeing services into their menus. Meditation and mindfulness programmes lead the way (53%), followed closely by personal training sessions (51%), yoga and Pilates classes (45%), and group fitness classes (22%).
