5 day spas TO FOLLOW

Defined by standing apart from a hotel, day spas rely on marketing and word of mouth to attract clients rather than overnight bookings. Here are five that inspire us on social media

Cloud Twelve Club

Home to the viral head spa “Scalp Facial”, Cloud Twelve is a wellness sanctuary in London, offering rituals for the stressed-out modern consumer.

Founded by naturopath, herbalist and homeopath, Jenya Di Perro, Cloud Twelve’s treatment offerings are rooted in traditional wellness and draw upon ancient practices combined with science.

From its Himalayan salt room, designed to purify the lungs and promote wellness, to its steam and sauna areas, the environment is curated to balance the body’s energy. Cloud Twelve has endless possibilities to promote ever-popular wellness content and does so expertly in-house and via UGC creators.

Eden Hall

A day spa retreat located in the heart of Nottinghamshire, Eden Hall is the sister spa to the iconic Hoar Cross Hall. The spa’s Instagram feed is full of tempting reels to entice clients, showing off the gorgeous grounds, delicious healthy food and advanced facilities, including a vitality swimming pool and thermal spa suite. In 2023, the spa opened an impressive new spa garden, with a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, outdoor firepit seating area and the new Vinery Restaurant and Bar.

Nirvana Spa

Located near Wokingham, Nirvana Spa is a pure water retreat, featuring crystal-clear lagoons flowing with water drawn from a natural aquifer beneath the building.

From the Celestial Pool, which allows visitors to float away under a starlit sky, to the candlelit tepidarium and majestic Roman baths, Nirvana Spa has no issue with being Instagrammable but still makes the effort to slay the algorithm by jumping on to popular trends, which pays off in engagement.

Pure Spa

Pure Spa was established by Becky Lumsden, a chartered accountant who dreamed of fronting her own business after noticing a gap in the market for urban professionals wanting wellness.

Originating in Scotland, the business has expanded over the years via a series of standalone day spas and salons as well as collaborations with hotels and health clubs. Delivering treatments for timestarved individuals, Pure Spa is open late throughout the week to offer clients wellbeing and beauty treatments after a long day in the city.

The Bath House at Banya No.1

Instagram: @banya.in.belgravia 9.9k

Located in London’s chic Belgravia, The Bath House is all about the benefits of hot and cold, blending contemporary thermal therapy with traditional Russian banya.

Weaving time-honoured rituals, organic treatments, scrubs, massage and aromatic leaves, The Bath House offers Brits a unique experience. The unpretentious day spa’s feed is a wealth of inspiration for how to do UGC right with visitor videos detailing their banya journies and the Eastern European drinks and dishes also on offer.
