This February saw growth in spa businesses compared to the previous year, with 71% of respondents seeing a surge in treatment business, while retail sales experienced an improvement for a substantial 53%.

As spas start to gear up for the summer rush, many managers are implementing strategic measures. Enhanced marketing efforts for summer promotions top the list, being implemented by 71% of you, while introducing seasonal treatments or packages (53%) and adjusting staffing levels to accommodate increased demand (41%) are also key considerations.

When it comes to retaining existing clients, more than three quarters (76%) of you actively encourage guests to rebook appointments before they leave the spa. Hellen Ward talks more about the importance of looking after existing clients on page 36.
