LPG lymphatic drainage event
Allbright Members Club, London
LPG hosted an expert panel event in Mayfair where Dr Tasmin Lewis, founder of Wellgevity, Flavia Morellato, lymphatic drainage expert, Professor Christophe Hausswirth, clinical research director, and Nathalie Paradis, physiotherapist and LPG expert, spoke about the importance of lymphatic drainage and how LPG Endermologie can help.
PB’s deputy editor Kezia Parkins went along to learn more about the technique, which she developed a personal obsession with since being diagnosed with lipoedema, which impacts the lymphatic system and causes pain and swelling. The panel shared insight into some clinical studies in which lymphatic drainage and use of LPG specifically were shown to dramatically improve recovery times from injury, surgery and aesthetic treatments. They also discussed how the treatment is even built into the healthcare system in other countries such as France, where the benefits of lymphatic drainage are far more respected.
