July marked another positive month for beauty business owners, with 48% of respondents reporting improvement in treatment business compared with July last year – and an impressive average treatment room occupancy of 81%. Retail business, while facing some challenges in the summer months, remained dynamic with 24% reporting better sales.
When it comes to client satisfaction, 44% of respondents reported that quality of services and treatments was the most important factor while professionalism and friendliness of staff (38%) and price and value for money (18%) also contributed.
Interestingly, 46% of respondents reported a recent increase in male clients booking treatments, showcasing the evolving landscape of the beauty industry and demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity.
