Clients seem to have picked up on the industry’s skincare buzzwords, with 74% of respondents reporting clients showing an interest in treatments involving hyaluronic acid, and retinoids (48%) and collagen (31%) are also popular.
While adoption of artificial intelligence to enhance spa businesses was relatively low – especially when compared to beauty businesses – spa directors excelled in measuring client satisfaction. Methods include therapists actively asking for feedback after treatments (43%), sending feedback forms via email (38%), asking clients to complete forms in person (22%), and follow-up phone calls (19%).
