3D Medispa launch
Champneys Tring, Hertfordshire
PB’s editor Eve Oxberry was among select press to be invited to the VIP launch for 3D Aesthetics’ Medispa at Champneys Tring. The day kicked off with a lunch at Champneys’ New Lief restaurant where 3D aesthetics MD Roy Cowley and Champneys group spa director Laura Tatlow chatted to the press about the new concept and trends in aesthetics. After a tour of the new facility, guests experienced treatments (see page 80 for our verdict of the HydrO2 facial) before using the spa facilities. Later, at the dinner, a guest appearance was made by singer Peter Andre, who then joined Roy to co-host a VIP members evening. Champneys Tring members enjoyed a Q&A session with Roy and Peter, as well as learning about the new medispa and booking in for consultations.

Attendees were then treated to a Germaine de Capuccini facial before making use of the luxurious spa facilities, including steam rooms and saunas.
Orly It All Started With Pink
Duck and Dry, London
Orly took over Mayfair’s Duck and Dry salon for a celebratory day of bespoke manicures while learning more about Orly’s founder, Jeff Pink, creator of the original French manicure, and the history of the brand. Orly brought its Colour Labs Bar to the UK for the first time at the event, and PB’s Lollie created her own custom colour, “Lollipop Pink” (head to our Instagram to watch the reel showing how she did it). Nail techs were also on hand to provide manicures, with Lollie choosing a Barbie-inspired twist on a classic French mani for summer.
Beauty Through a Lense:The Power of AR – Snap x British Beauty Council
Snap Inc., Farringdon
The British Beauty Council (BBCo) teamed up with Snap Inc. for an event at Snapchat’s London office exploring all things artificial reality within the beauty world. PB’s Lollie attended the event, where guests could play with Snapchat’s interactive fashion and beauty filters. Make-up artists Lan Nguyen-Grealis, Pauline Briscoe and Gia Mills were on hand to recreate the looks from the filters. Following a keynote speech from Gary Thompson, aka The Plastic Boy, members of the Snap team gave insight into just how powerful Snapchat filters can be for brands, and BBCo’s chief executive, Millie Kendall, was joined by MUA Dominic Skinner, Love Island’s Indiyah Polack and Snapchat’s Kate Mellett for a panel discussion on the role of tech in the beauty space.
