F&F

The statistics from this month’s spa survey show that the spa industry is continuing to grow, with 69% of you reporting better treatment business and 56% reporting better retail business in April 2023 compared to April 2022.

One factor that might attract more visitors to your spa is your environmental credentials. Some of the changes which respondents have made to their spas include reducing energy usage (75%), reducing single-use items (63%), using paper-free bookings and receipts (56%) and taking on sustainable product houses (38%).

If you’re looking for more ways to reduce your spa’s impact on the planet, you can find out more about what B Corp status means and how you can achieve it on page 45, and don’t miss the news on Barons Eden’s biomass heating project on page 18 – astep towards the group’s goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2030.
