Find out who won the five categories of the Professional Beauty London Make-up Competition 2023

Both student and professional make-up artists (MUAs) had their brushes at the ready and put their skills to the test to be crowned winners at Professional Beauty London’s 2023 Make-Up Competition.

The competition, directed by leading MUA Lan Nguyen Grealis, saw make-up artists compete in five categories over two-days, each showcasing the skills it takes to become a top name in the industry.

On Sunday, March 5, MUAs competed in the Bodypainting category, with looks centred around the theme of “The greatest painters of our time”, the Editorial category, where competitors created iconic show looks inspired by “Savage Beauty – Alexander McQueen”, and the Film category, where MUAs were asked to create a modern character from cartoon franchise Disney.

On Monday, MUAs were tasked with creating a classic bridal look in the Bridal category.

There was also a category which took place off the floor – the Image Award, with a theme of “Life in colour”.
