Last month saw the launch of Babtac’s TIME initiative, which aims to increase awareness of safe beauty treatments among consumers [read more about this on page 12]. As part of this, beauty businesses are being encouraged to talk openly about the training and qualifications held by their therapists in order to help clients recognise that the treatment is safe. However, when we asked how you make clients aware of therapists’ training and qualifications, almost a quarter [24%] of Insider respondents said they currently don’t do this at all. Popular methods among those who do inform clients of their training include certificates displayed in salons [27%] and posts on social media [22%].
