COMPETE AMONG THE BEST

Calling all nail techs and make-up artists – you won’t want to miss our Nail and Make-Up Competitions at PB London on October 17–18, hosted by pros Marian Newman and Lan Nguyen-Grealis

PB London Nail Competition with Marian Newman

Professional Beauty Group is collaborating with The Federation of Nail Professionals (aka “The Feds”) on the Nail Competition at PB London. The Feds is an industry body, set up by leading session tech Marian Newman, that supports the profession and champions high standards in the industry, which is what makes them the perfect partner for our two-day Nail Competition.

Our Nail Competition categories have been shaken up, to highlight the evolving nail industry, with categories that focus on creating looks for social media, as well as replicating nail art based on demonstrations performed at the show.

Newman commented: “We want to take a lot of the stress out of the competition.

We’re streamlining the rules and the judging. We want to make it more informal and fun.”

Price: £30 for educators and professionals; £15 for students. Deadline and competition pack on website.

PB London Make-up Competition with Lan Nguyen-Grealis

Renowned make-up artist Lan Nguyen-Grealis has partnered with PB to host our Make-up Competition at Professional Beauty London. Whether you’re a student MUA or a seasoned pro, there are a range of categories to choose from to showcase your skills and be in with the chance of being crowned by the judges.

Categories this year include Bridal, Film, Editorial and Body Make-up. More details on each brief will be released soon on the website, with each category reflecting the ever-changing industry skills needed for today’s make-up artist.

Alongside Nguyen-Grealis you can expect a team of seasoned industry judges who will be reviewing your work –a fantastic opportunity for feedback and critique from the industry’s best. Watch this space for the full judge line-up.

Price: £20 for professionals; £10 for students. Deadline and competition pack on website.
