Pure Spa and Beauty has opened a new salon within the Aparthotel brand Hy Hotels in the seaside town of Lytham St Annes. The salon features a nail and pedicure area, brow bar and four treatment rooms for services including Diamond Peel facials and massages. This is the brand’s fourteenth site.

SkinCeuticals has opened its second Advanced Clinic Centre in collaboration with medical aesthetic nurse practitioner Sarah White. Located on the Wirral in Liverpool, the centre covers facials, peels, custom D.O.S.E personalised corrective serums and more, and has an in-house dedicated treatment room.

Towels, robes and footwear brand BC Softwear has taken on three new spa accounts in the UK and Ireland - Buxton Crescent & Thermal Spa in Buxton, Hope Street Hotel Spa in Liverpool and the Radisson in Dublin.

The Beauty Run has launched Makeup Pro Directory, which gives make-up artists access to more than 100 different make-up brands’ information, programmes and exclusive discounts of up to 70%. The tool is available in the UK, Europe, US, Canada and Internationally.

Dermalogica hosted “The Future of Touch” session in September, where chief executive Aurelian Lis and founder Jane Wurwand discussed the future of skincare services and support needed for professional therapists. The brand has also added two new people to its Ireland team - head of marketing Sinead Dowling (left) and divisional sales manager Anne-Marie Henley.
