// Sorbet Salons has introduced its branded skincare range to the UK market. The South African salon group created three collections: Hydro Skin, Salon Skin and Age Affect. Among the products are cleansers, serums and moisturisers.

// Sally Salon Services launched its Everyone’s a Winner competition last month to reward customers for their support. Every customer spending more than £30 will be given a scratch card with a chance to win prizes including cinema tickets, spa vouchers, hotel deals and a holiday for two worth £3,000.

// Vita Liberata founder Alyson Hogg has been recognised in The Queen’s Birthday Honours. Hogg received an MBE for her contribution to economic development in Northern Ireland as a leading local employer. It also acknowledged her collaboration with The Prince’s Trust, as its first Northern Irish female patron.

// Bellus Medical, the maker of microneedling device Skin Pen, has been awarded the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 13485:2016 certification. Bellus is the first microneedling company to receive the stamp of approval.

// Rabbia Aslam, clinical director at HC MedSpa, will be the new UK aesthetic beauty ambassador for Alma Lasers. Aslam has been working with Alma’s technology including Soprano ICE Platinum, Accent Prime and Harmony XL Pro since 2009, and has written and tested treatment protocols for the brand.
