IIAA RESET YOUR ROUTINE EVENT

ROSEWOOD HOTEL, LONDON

PB editor Eve and deputy ed Amanda went along to IIAA’s Reset Your Routine press event to find out about upcoming launches from the distributor’s brands – Jane Iredale, ANP and Environ.

Guests had their skin analysed using Visia skin scanners and had its elasticity levels measured with a cutometer. Nutrition brand ANP’s rebranding and upcoming product launches were revealed, and there were demonstrations of Environ body treatments and the summer make-up collection from Jane Iredale.

NOVALASH VIDEO FILMING

IRIS STUDIO, CHELSEA, LONDON

PB spent a day with US lash brand Novalash to film three exclusive videos for the lashes hub on the PB website. The brand’s UK director Heather Hughes and trainer Zachary Falb came along with Novalash artist Kelly Fairclough and celeb make-up artist Paul Herrington to film the video content, soon to be revealed on PB’s YouTube channel.

RUUBY @ 6 MORTIMER POP-UP

6 MORTIMER, LONDON

“Beauty concierge” service Ruuby held a launch party to mark the opening of its pop-up salon in London, the first bricks-and-mortar incarnation of the on-demand treatment bookings app. Eve and assistant editor Georgia drank champagne and enjoyed Bio Sculpture Evo manicures, while other guests had blow-dries, Darphin facials and lash tints by make-up brand Bobbi Brown.

RUDDING PARK SPA OPENING

Rudding Park hotel unveiled its new destination spa in May to 400 partners, guests and press. The event was hosted by hotel owners Simon and Judi Mackaness, managing director Peter Banks and spa director Matthew Mackaness in the rooftop spa garden. Guests explored the garden, the spa’s panoramic sauna and its mind and sense zones; and enjoyed drinks and canapés by the hotel’s chef Murray Wilson.

LIN & LO STUDIO LAUNCH

DUCK & DRY, LONDON

New mineral make-up brand Lin & Lo held an evening event to mark the opening of its first studio in blow-dry bar Duck & Dry off London’s Oxford Street. Founders Alina Milos and Laura Bouillard were there to introduce press to the brand and invite them to enjoy makeovers, sushi and colourful meringue treats. A watercolour portrait artist immortalised guests, including PB’s Amanda and Georgia in quick, take-home sketches.

SIX SENSES WELLBEING DAY

CHELSEA, LONDON

Global luxury spa group Six Senses moved into a huge, glamorous house in London’s Chelsea for the day and invited press for a morning of wellbeing activities to introduce its new Sleep with Six Senses programme.

PB’s Georgia took part in an early morning outdoor yoga session followed by a healthy breakfast and talks from vice president of Six Senses Spas Anna Bjurstam and Dr Michael Breus, also known as the Sleep Doctor. A personal integrated wellbeing screening finished off the health-focused morning.
